This movie has won many awards over the years for the amazing acting by Jamie Fox as Ray Charles. Ray Charles goes through many difficult stages in life. Through the music industry changing gospel into R&B, going blind at the age of 6, and also having to break his herion habbit. Ray Charles has had many #1 albums and hits in the 60's and 70's and impacted musicians everywere especially black musicians which seems right during black history month.
Review 5 out of 5. You have to see this movie if you havent yet. It deserves a 5 because its just exactly what you want to see in a movie.

Oh my gosh!!! Swish I love this movie!! Every time I watch it I cry. Especially at the part where he just stands there and stares at his brother in the wash bucket! I ball every time!!! And when he is begining to go blind, that just rips out my heart. In the start of the movie he is the good guy but then he starts doing drugs and gets a girl knocked up and wants to leave, he becomes completely opposite. Altogether though, it was a great movie!!!
I love this movie! Watching this movie made Ray Charles one of my favorite people to listen to when it comes to music! I was so surprised on how much he went through, but in the end everything worked out.
